Custom Measurement Instructions

To ensure your custom unit fits securely and comfortably, please follow the steps below carefully. Use a soft measuring tape and measure your hair braided down as flat as possible.

1. Circumference

Place the measuring tape at your front hairline.
Wrap it around your head — behind your ears and around the nape of your neck — then back to the starting point at your hairline.

This is the most important measurement.
Measure twice to confirm accuracy.

2. Temple to Temple

Place the tape at one temple.
Wrap it around the back of your head to the opposite temple.

3. Ear to Ear (over top)

Measure from the top of one ear to the top of the other ear, passing across your hairline.

This determines how the lace will lay across the front.

4. Nape of Neck

Place the measuring tape at the base of your hairline on one side of your neck (just behind the ear).

Run the tape across the back of your head, following the natural curve of your nape, to the base of your hairline behind the opposite ear.

Keep the tape snug but not tight, and make sure your hair is braided down flat before measuring.
